If you cancel your service 10 days prior to the wedding date, we will refund 100% of the service fee. If you cancel within 10 days prior to the wedding date we will refund you 50% of the service fee.  However, if you cancel  two days prior to your wedding date,  no refund will be given.  That's because we open your channel for live broadcast testing two days prior to the wedding date.  At that point the service is considered to have been delivered.

I'm not very tech savvy, can you send someone to set it all up for me?

It is simple to use - all you need is someone to point and shoot and follow the basic instructions.  This truly is a plug-and-play system.  If you can operate a laptop and a camcorder, you're ready to start broadcasting, but we can provide you with an onsite professional if required.

We recognize you may not wish to deal with all the technical details in setting up a live broadcast and to rather focus more on catering to your guests.

We offer several options to make the process of broadcasting your event live as simple as possible.

1. We offer an Enhanced Live Broadcast package that includes all the equipment you'll need to quickly setup and easily broadcast live.  We'll send you a Camcorder, a tripod, a laptop with built in broadband wireless from Verizon, and, one-click broadcast software pre-installed.  Once the event is over, you will send the equipment back to us within 3 days  on a pre-paid UPS mailing label.

2. Provide us with your videographer's contact information.  We will partner with your videographer to setup the entire live broadcast for you provided your venue has internet access.

3. We also have a network of videographers located throughout Australia who can provide live webcasting service to you.  Please call us at 1300 645 300 or email us at sales@idostream.com.au  to find out if there is a local videographer in your area who can work with you.

What differentiates you from your competitors?

Our service is not only competitively priced but we emphasize first and foremost quality of service and quality of the live video stream.   All our live broadcasts are fully monitored by our staff.  We also recognize occasionally one or two viewers may have difficulty viewing the live broadcast because of their computer configuration.  Therefore, we provide live technical support chat for all live broadcasts that we do.

In addition, we've partnered with a Content-Delivery Network (CDN) to bring you the best live video quality with minimum interruptions.   This means a viewer from India watching a live broadcast from Australia, for example, would connect to a server closest to them, say Japan, rather than connecting to a single server in Australia.   When shopping around, ask our competitors whether they use a CDN or not.

back

Why should I use you over one of those free live webcasting sites?

Many free live webcasting sites deliberately lower the quality of the video stream in order to accommodate for the thousands of live webcasts that are occurring simultaneously on their site.  The reliability also suffers because of this.  Do you really want viewers to experience constant buffering while watching your important event?

We've had many videographers who have used the free sites switch to us because they could not reliably provide a live webcast using a free webcasting site.

back

Can I make a deposit to reserve my date rather than paying the full amount months ahead?

Yes, if your wedding is still months away, you can reserve a live broadcast for your special day with a $25 fully refundable deposit.

We will contact you either by phone or email approximately one month before your event date to start the setup process.  We will also send you an email invoice at that time for you to purchase either our Basic or Enhanced Live Broadcast package.   Your deposit will automatically be applied towards your purchase of a broadcast package.

back

I'm ordering my service months in advance, how do I know you will honour your commitments then?

I Do Stream takes our service commitments very seriously.  We are dedicated to high customer satisfaction.

Unlike a self-service site, we provide full service from the moment you order our services.  Besides making sure you have a good setup experience with us, we also make sure the online viewers of your special event will have a trouble free viewing experience by making technical support chat part of our standard service.
